Roger Boussauw kwam op een morgen vroeg aankloppen omdat zijn zieke vrouw in crisistoestand (coma?) gevallen was. Ik maakte de volgende dagen haar doodsstrijd mee. En dat was niet om aan te zien. De vele kinderen kwamen over, een paar goedwillig en helpend, de andere zo maar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ze was altijd stil en teruggetrokken en een fervente socialiste. Ik was erbij toen de Deken haar kwam berechten. Hij beperkte zich tot het aller nodigste, zonder een woord toelichting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Toen ze gestorven was, was Roger radeloos. Hij ging zeker tweemaal per dag naar het kerkhof, werd ziek, \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tot hij een andere vrouw bij zich introk. De rouw was plots gedaan. Alleen sukkelde hij nog met zijn gezondheid. Nieuwe heupen en zo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
